Malaya Watson made it to the top 10 girls of American Idol Season 13. It was an intense evening and she had to wait for what could be the longest in her life. Her name was called last and she closed the evening's show with a gospel bluesy rendition of Hard Times (No One Knows Better Than I) by Ray Charles.
Jennifer Lopez said "There is no doubt you are one of the powerhouse singers of this competition" Harry Connick Jr looks forward to see what genre she will eventually be perfect for. Keith Urban was impressed and commented "You make glasses and braces look so cool. You know what it is? It's confidence."
Indeed, it was an over the top performance. I just hope America will vote for her.
