The first teaser trailer of the final installment of the Middle Earth saga, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies is now available.

The poignant 2 minute clip starts with Bilbo, played by Martin Freeman, talking about how future generations will remember the good, the bad, those who survived, and those who didn't. A series of brief scenes are shown with a hearfelt background song by Pippin "Edge of the Night". The teaser closes with Thorin asking Bilbo Will you follow me one last time?

Director Peter Jackson has promised the third film will offer epic action scenes and visually stunning moments. And we ask which characters will be killed?

Is X-Men: Days of Future Past the Best X-Men Franchise?

In comparison to previous X-Men movies, critics have given X-Men: Days of Future Past the best reviews by far. And from the box office perspective it will be a huge blockbuster and could beat the record of X-Men : The Last Stand ( 2006 - $459 million  ) which was also directed by Bryan Singer. Currently, it has raked over $260 million worlwide.

For me, this is not the best X-Men franchise. The Last Stand still stood out. But still I enjoyed the story ( loosely based on the storyline of Uncanny X-Men comics ), the impressive action sequences and the fresh characters of Bishop, Warpath, Blink, Sunspot and Quicksilver who is truly amusing.

New Characters introduced :

Bishop, played by Omar Syhas ability to absorb all forms of energy and release it in different forms like kinetic blasts.

Warpath, played by Booboo Stewart, a first native-american mutant with superhuman senses, strength, agility and flexibility. He has super resistance to injury and explosions.

Blink, played by Fan Bingbing, has the ability to teleport and create portals for others to teleport as well.

Sunspot, played by Adan Canto is an afro-brazilian mutant with ability to absorb and channel solar power.

Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters, can think and move at supersonic speeds which allows him among others to run up walls, cross bodies of water and create cyclone-strength winds.

I'm just a little bit disappointed with the future last scene. The fight scenes could have been extended. And it was too dark to really appreciate all the action sequences. But overall, it was a great ride.

After the movie, don't leave first. As in previous films, a cliffhanger post credit scene is shown about a cloaked man with telekinesis.

For those who have seen the latest flick, is X-Men: Days of Future Past the best X-Men franchise? Share with us your thoughts.

Should You Watch or Boycott The "Noah" Movie?

Noah Movie, the latest Hollywood take on an epic Bible tale is under scrutiny. Many religious purists call for boycott claiming Hollywood has twisted a sacred story. In some Middle Eastern countries, the film was banned for contradicting the teachings of Islam with its portrayal of a prophet.

The question posed by most Jews, Christian, and Muslim believers is : should one watch or boycott the Noah movie?

As a Christian and a movie fan, I am inclined to watch this flick for a number of reasons. As a believer I know what is the real story. And nothing can persuade me to doubt what really happened. Director Darren Aronofsky who is an atheist has in fact made it clear that the movie is merely "inspired by" the Biblical story. And the producers have tried to convey the message of repentance and God's mercy. You may want to watch the featurette below.

This is even a good opportunity to tell our non-believer friends our faith. I have friends who are non-christians and over lunch we had a nice conversation about the story as what is written in the Bible.

The movie seems to be well crafted. Based on early reviews, critics have praised the excellent acting of Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson and other actors. The action scene and visual effects were also impeccable.

I will definitely watch this movie. How about you? Are you watching the Noah movie?

Featurette about the Biblical accuracy.

Watch Full-length Trailer of Godzilla 2014 ( Video )

Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures have released a full length trailer of it's latest reboot of the most famous monster, Godzilla. Directed by British Gareth Edwards ( Monsters ) and stars Bryan Cranston ( Breaking Bad ) as nuclear physicist Joe Brody, Aaron Taylor-Johnson ( Kick Ass ), Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins and David Strathairn.

From the looks of the trailer, the movie will not focus on the monstrosity of Godzilla but more on "human drama" with emphasis on military experience. In an interview Director Edwards stated that Godzilla will be portrayed as an anti-hero rather than a villain or a hero. He stated "Godzilla is definitely a representation of the wrath of nature. We've taken it very seriously and the theme is man versus nature and Godzilla is certainly the nature side of it. You can't win that fight. Nature's always going to win and that's what the subtext of our movie is about. He's the punishment we deserve"

This is the second American remake of the Japanese film monster. The 1998 movie grossed $379 million in the box office.

What do you think of the trailer? For me, it looks promising.

Has Shia LaBeouf Gone Crazy or This is Just a Publicity Stunt?

Transformers movie star Shia LaBeouf has gone crazy. After being asked in a press conference, he made an unrelated answer then walked out. Her co - stars Uma Thurman and Christian Slater from the movie Nymphomaniac, were seen laughing about his comments. Later at the Berlin Film Festival red carpet, he was seen wearing a paper bag with words "I am not famous anymore".

Do these actions reflect LaBeouf's current state of mind or just part of a publicity stunt for his latest movie?

I would think both. His weird actions actually were publicly known  he was accused of plagiarism in December. Then in January he made an announcement that he would retire from public life.

Watch Video : Sofia Vergara Slaps Jimmy Kimmel

It started just for fun and ended badly. Sofia Vergara was so offended that she slapped Jimmy Kimmel. She couldn't take the insults anymore when Kimmel read an online comment that she had a penis.

Don't get carried away. Everything was just a joke. They are of course friends and were just having fun. This is a common scene in the show. Matt Damon had a hilarious interview a few years ago.

Here's what happened.

Last night's episode in Jimmy Kimmel Show, the comedian host invited the funny, Modern Family star, to read a selection of mean comments written about each other. The first few remarks were still tolerable until Sofia lost her cool and things turned bitter.

"The most dangerous neighborhood in the country is the comments section on every webpage" Jimmy told the audience. Indeed, if you read some remarks from people around the world, they can be so horrible. Some  are so racist and discriminatory that it could actually start a war.

What terrible comments have you read about anyone lately? Share with us.

Embarrasing Moment of Transformers Director Michael Bay at CES 2014 ( Video )

We all have embarrassing moments in public. And this could be Michael Bay's worst, yet. Bay, a famous director of movies such as Transformers series, Pearl Harbor and Armageddon, went blank and speechless during Samsung's presentation of it's latest 150 inches bendable TV at CES 2014. When he discovered he screwed up, he then walked out, leaving the moderator and audience dumbfounded.

In a blog post in his website, the renowned director wrote : " Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES. I just got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP's intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down-then I walked off. I guess live shows aren't my thing."

This shows that even talented people suffer from stage-fright. Watching this reminds me of a shameful experience I had back in my University days.

Expect spoof and parodies in YouTube about this humiliating incident. For now, watch the video and share with us why you think he messed up.

Both are often caught publicly expressing their love for each other.

Is she pregnant?

Chuck Norris Has Beaten Van Damme

Last November, Van Damme made an epic split into a two trucks in a Volvo advertisement. Now, Chuck Norris has spoof the act of Van Damme by doing the same stunt however this time between the wings of two flying cargo planes while balancing 11 men on his head.

The same music background of Enya's Only Time, Norris is standing upright in between of the two wingtips and as the camera zooms out slowly, it reveals his incredible stunt by balancing eleven more people over his head while doing the epic split.

It turned out that the eleven men on top of his head formed and created a Christmas Tree formation with their lights and flares.

The words “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” appears above the human tree as the narrator wishes everyone  a season’s greetings.

Here's the epic spoof:

The Hobbit Sequel Desolation of Smaug Did Not Attract More Viewers

An action packed The Hobbit : Desolation of Smaug racked up  $73.6 million in its opening weekend, lower than the first installment which earned $84.6 million in December 2012.  It did not attract more viewers even with  comical scenes from the dwarves and additional characters Tauriel and Legolas ( who were not in the original book by Tolkien ).

Purists have heavily criticized Peter Jackson's decision to add the two characters just to expand the story into a trilogy. Many has questioned New Line Cinema's  change of its original two-film plan.

For a devoted like me, I am still attracted to see these films even if it may appear the story is stretched. For many others, however, they became more selective and decided to pass.

What do you think of The Hobbit : Desolation of Smaug ? Was it a let down?

U.S. Box Office Update This Week:

1. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug -- $73.6 million
2. Frozen -- $22.2 million
3. A Madea Christmas -- $16.2 million
4. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire -- $13.2 million
5. Thor: The Dark World -- $2.7 million
