Google Has Bought More Robots

Robots in the mainstream is finally coming. The New York Times reports that Google has acquired Boston Dynamics, a robot maker for the US military. This is the eight robotics company that Google has added to its collection. Although the purpose of the acquisition is not specified, it appears that that Google has some bigger plans.

Andy Rubin, Google's executive who led the development of Android gave us an idea of its future venture when he said " Competitions like the Darpa Robotics Challenge stretch participants to try to solve problems that matter and we hope to learn from the teams' insights around disaster relief."

We are witnessing the trend among big companies using robots, with Amazon recently announcing plans to use drones in delivering packages in 30 minutes.

Soon, we will be running out of jobs. What do you think of these technological advancements?
