Who's ready to get hammered by the blond, long-haired god of thunder? Yes, the sequel Thor : The Dark World opens internationally starting today.
Thor ( Chris Hemsowrth ) embarks on his most perilous battle yet. Will he sacrifice everything to save the world? And it looks like he would need the help of his adopted brother Loki ( Tom Hiddleston ). So we would have to expect brother and definitely some daddy issues to sprung up along the way.
We will see him reunite with love interest Jane Foster ( Natalie Portman ). After being infected with a mysterious energy, she will be brought to Asgard ( mythical realm within Marvel Comics Universe ). Its interesting to see how she copes up.
What I will be looking forward is the inner struggle of Loki and how he will forsake the dark side and redeem himself.
Early reviews have been generally positive citing more action scenes than its predecessor and balance between romance and humor. I will definitely watch it. Will update here as soon as I see it.
The superhero film runs 112 minutes. It is directed by Alan Taylor who has done 6 episodes of the famous TV series Games of Thrones. Alan Taylor is collaborating with James Cameron ( Avatar, Titanic ) for a comeback of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator slated to be released in 2015.
