My father and two kids are among the millions who are addicted to Candy Crush Saga. The smash hit mobile game is the highest grossing app on both iPhone and iPad in 2013. Worldwide, it is estimated to make 1 million dollars per day from its users. Die hard fans buy add-ons, extra live lives and access to higher levels.

Launched in November 2012, Candy Crush  has more than 500 million downloads and has been played more than 150 billion times. King co-founder Sebastian Knutsson explained why they remain on top "We add new content every two to three weeks. It allows you to play the whole saga in a new way."
