Thousands help 5 year old leukemia survivor fulfill dream as Batkid

This is another touching story that will melt your hearts.

Thousands of people in San Francisco help five year old Miles Scott, a leukemia survivor, fulfill his dream to be a batman for a day.

The city turned into Gotham, as Miles participated in events such as riding in a Lamborghini-turned Batmobile, fighting off supervillains the Riddler and the Penguin and in the process rescued the San Francisco Giants mascot, Lou Seal. The program was organized by Make a Wish Foundation, with pledges from over 10,000 people.

More than 13,000 showed up in the event to cheer up and the witnessed the kid being awarded the key to the city by the mayor. Even President Barack Obama sent a video praising the kid for his heroism by saying "Way to go, Miles! Way to save Gotham."

In real life, it was also a celebration. The kid also triumphed over the sickness which he battled since he was 18 months old.
