After a very long anticipation, The Lone Ranger will finally open in theaters on July 3, 2013. For most of us who are not familiar with American Old West, we would definitely still enjoy this movie because of Johnny Depp's presence. We have enjoyed him as funny and eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow in the film series Pirates of the Carribean. He stole people's hearts when he portrayed in the Edward Scissorhands. Who would think he can sing well in Sweeney Todd. In Finding Neverland, he was nominated at Academy Awards for best actor.
Nobody can match his ability. He has his own style that nobody can quite replicate. How interesting if the following movies has his interpretation.
- OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL – James Franco’s performance as Oscar Diggs was so-so. It could have been wittier and funnier with Depp’s eccentric rendition.
- INDIANA JONES - We all love Harrison Ford but just imagine how hilarious it would be if Johnny Depp played the part. It would be a brilliantly crazy adventure.
- THE JOKER - Heath Ledger’s portrayal was impeccable. He was so in character that people truly hated him in Dark Knight. Depp could have a waggish version. Or perhaps he would just be The Riddler if Hollywood would make another Batman movie.
- SHERLOCK HOLMES - Robert Downey Jr is one of a kind. He did very well. I’m just trying to imagine how these 2 great actors would just do if they ever be in a movie. I hope that really happens.
