Katy Perry's Lip Sync Mishap

The famous pop singer had a lip sync mishap during her live performance in Canne's music award.

Katy was singing her hit song "Roar" when the backing track went wrong. Close-up shots showed her mouth was unable to match the tune that caused an awkwardly performance.

About a minute into her mishap, the host of the show intervened on the stage asking Perry to start all over again, he said: “If you don’t mind, we can restart. What do you think? We had a little problem. I’m really sorry to stop all your energy.”

The still shocked Katy, somehow agreed to sing the second time. However, during the repeat performance, it was apparent that there was a big difference on the pitch.

The organizers of NRJ music award issued an apology and have taken responsible for the lip sync mishap.

Katy Perry went on to bagged two awards, including International Female Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for “Roar.”
